The desert jam is a plant of the Orobanchaceae parasitic on the steppe saxophagus ( Haloxylon ammodendron ). As the name suggests, the plant grows in dry to desert areas. Like other flashes, even the desert wreath is like a fleshy, green, leafless stem that grows out of the ground and ends in its soukvetami. It is collected and TČM attributed to it effects against fatigue , inflammation, pain and overall protective and adaptive effects on the hormonal system ( Wang2012cdm ). For its widespread use it is called " Desert Ginseng ". Its main active ingredients are phenylethanoic glycosides. Its glycoside acteoside has androgenic effects ( Wang2012cdm ).
