The Desert Wreath is a plant of the Orobanchaceae parasiticous on Haloxylon ammodendron . As the name suggests, the plant grows in dry and desert areas. Like other flashes, even the desert ghost is like a fleshy, green, leafy stem that grows out of the ground and ends with its soukvetí. It is collected and TČM attributed to it effects against fatigue , inflammation , pain and overall protective and adaptive effects on the hormonal system ( Wang2012cdm ). For its widespread use it is called " desert ginseng ". Its main active ingredients are phenylethanoid glycosides. Its glycoside acteoside has androgenic effects ( Wang2012cdm ).
